Churches United for the Homeless provides emergency food baskets for individuals and families who are at-risk of becoming homeless.  Recipients receive 3-4 days worth of food to assist them during thier time of need.   

Hours:  Food Baskets are available on Wednesdays from 4 PM to 5 PM.

Policies: First time visitors are asked to bring a social security card and photo ID.  Individuals may receive one food basket each month. 

Needs:  Food used to fill the weekly baskets comes primarily from community food drives, church drop-off baskets, and individual donations to the shelter.  However, cash donations are also needed to allow Churches United to purchase gap items during times when donations do not keep up with the many requests.  Donations of food or cash can be delivered to: 1901 1st Avenue North, Moorhead.
